Erasmus+ | ESN LMA

What is ESN?

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the biggest student association in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange.

ESN is operating on three levels: local, national, and international.

ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing the student exchange from different levels, and providing an intercultural experience also to those students who cannot access a period abroad ("internationalisation at home").

On 2-3 of June, 2018 LMA students-mentors participated in 36th "ESN Lithuania" National Platform in order to apply for the candidature to become a part of "ESN Lithuania" family.
The majority of ESN Lithuania members voted for LMA candidature to become ESN LMA section (Erasmus Student Network of Lithuanian Maritime Academy).
For the next few months - ESN VIKO will be mentors (buddy sections) for candidates to ESN LMA. As LMA mentors, ESN VIKO will help to better understand how ESN LMA should work as part of ESN community.
Becoming a part of "ESN Lithuania" is a key step to help and make more activities viable for students coming under Erasmus+ programme
At the moment candidate of ESN LMA is planning to announce the election for ESN LMA board until September 2018.
