The Hochschule Wismar University of Applied Sciences Technology in Germany has an Erasmus+ agreement with the Lithuanian Maritime Academy (LMA) for around three years, which makes joint exchanges between students and lecturers possible. Both educational institutions are comparable in profile.
As part of this Erasmus+ agreement, LMA Assoc. Prof. dr. Elena Valionienė visited the Maritime, Systems Engineering and Logistics (SAL) department on 16-17th April 2024 and took the opportunity to introduce LMA, the current research goals, etc. The presentation by Assoc. Prof. dr. Elena Valionienė met with great interest among students and teachers. The lecture hall, which can accommodate over 100 people, was almost full. The presentation was organized by Prof. dr. Sönke Reise and Prof. dr. Ute Schreiber.
