The uniform

WEARING THE MARITIME STUDENT UNIFORM IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE ENTIRE STUDY PERIOD. WEARING IT DEVELOPS THE ATTENTION AND COLLECTIVENESS OF STUDENTS, IMPROVES THEIR ABILITY TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR APPEARANCE, SELF-CONFIDENCE, AND INDUCES STUDENTS’ DISCIPLINE WITH RESPECT TO THE LMA AND DAILY LIFE.

LMA maritime uniforms are worn by full-time students of the following maritime study programmes:
Sea navigation;
Operation of ships’ energy equipment;
Operation of ships’ electrical equipment.
WEARING OF THE UNIFORM

By wearing a uniform, a student strengthens the image of Lithuania as a maritime state, represents the LMA, is therefore entitled to wear the uniform only according to the established procedure.

  1. UNIFORM MUST BE WORN DURING:
  2. Lectures;
  3. Practice classes;
  4. Internship;
  5. Examinations;
  6. Final qualification examinations;
  7. During the defense of theses;
  8. Public meeting;
  9. During national and LMA holidays.

ISSUING OF UNIFORMS

Uniforms are issued free of charge to LMA students studying in state-funded spots.

LMA students studying in study spots not funded by the state must purchase the uniform at their own expense, but students with good grades and no academic debt can receive a 50% discount for the purchase of a uniform.
