This week Miroslavs Mališko, lecturer at RTU Latvian Maritime Academy, visited LMA for the Erasmus+ staff mobility programme. He lectured the students of the second and third year, study programmes ,,Marine Engineering” and ,,Marine Electrical and Electronic Engineering” on high-voltage equipment, automatic control systems of main engines and auxiliary mechanisms, as well as on the principles of drawing and modelling of asynchronous starting circuits of electric motors with the use of special computer programmes.
Miroslav also exchanged experiences with his colleagues from LMA and familiarised himself with the training infrastructure for ship mechanics and electromechanics at a neighbouring maritime training institution.
