For academic staff
Erasmus+ for teaching (minimum number of academic teaching hours – 8, minimum foreign language level – B2). Teaching visits can take place in Erasmus+ Programme countries and approved Erasmus+ Partner countries with which LMA has signed inter-institutional Erasmus+ agreements.
For management employees
Erasmus+ for training (employees can participate in seminars, courses, workshops, educational visits, etc.). Studying visits can take place in Erasmus+ Programme countries and approved Erasmus+ Partner countries with which LMA has signed inter-institutional Erasmus+ agreements, and others. It is possible to participate in international weeks organized by higher schools (e.g. Staff training weeks, follow the link No. 1 and link No. 2), improve English in Barcelona, Maritime English in Malta and elsewhere.
GRANT FOR EMPLOYEES
The rules for funding employee mobility are the same regardless of the nature of the visit. The grant helps to cover travel and living expenses during the period of teaching or studying abroad. Employees receiving a zero grant are also allowed to participate in mobility activities. The minimum duration of the visit is 2 days, not including travel days, the maximum duration is 7 days, including travel days. Travel days cannot exceed 2 days.
REPORTING FOR ERASMUS+ TEACHING/STUDIES VISIT GRANT
A teacher or an administrative employee, returning from a teaching/studies visit, must submit a certificate with the signature and stamp of the host institution confirming the purpose and duration of the visit to the Department of International Relations within 3 working days, and fill out and submit the online EU Survey within 30 days.
