On Monday, May 20, 2024, the Lithuanian Maritime Academy kicked off two Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) events. These programs are designed to deepen students’ understanding of modern shipping and logistics trends.
The first group consists of 14 students from „Mircea cel Batran” Naval Academy in Romania and the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. This week, they will immerse themselves in the BIP titled “Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities: The Guide to Modern Shipping” (BIP ID: 2022-1-LT01-KA131-HED-000060596-1), focusing on contemporary shipping trends and practices.
Simultaneously, another BIP titled “Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities: The Guide to Modern Logistics” (BIP ID: 2023-1-LT01-KA131-HED-000113745-1) is being held for shore-based logistics and management specialists. This programme hosts 14 students from Riga Technical University Liepaja Maritime College in Latvia and the University of Management Personnel in Poland. Participants will explore the economic significance and global challenges of supply chains and logistics.
